Bingham Crossing is proposed to be a unique lifestyle center that intends to provide a community gathering place, an employment centre and a shopping destination. High end retailers and service providers will locate within the project to provide many goods and services that have not been available thus far in Southern Alberta. The plan area, which the first phase covers an area of approximately 40 acres.
Bingham Crossing is proposing three major components that, when integrated together, will form a master-planned and comprehensive commercial and business development. The project will consist of a retail/lifestyle zone, a highway edge zone, and a neighbourhood buffer zone (see figures below for potential layout options). All three components will include a comprehensively designed open space network and will be pedestrian oriented. Bingham Crossing will provide local employment opportunities within Springbank (full time and part time) and social gathering places for the community.
